Job Description

We are a web based business automation company looking to expand. Our company has developed a suite of "software as a service" products which will web enable nearly all business processes. We have further developed a unified web hosting platform which supports multi-tier web site design, publication and management.

We urgently require a content writer with marketing flair to revamp and rewrite the copy on our company website and produce the copy for a series of product marketing documents. The successful bidder will be expected to seek out similar products and "re-package" (NOT plagiarize) the content in such a way it can be made our own. It is a very simple exercise and the work could potentially be split into stages so that we can monitor the work as it is done.

Site rewrite approximately 2,000-2,500 words of copy
Marketing documents each comprising approx 750 words of copy.

In terms of timing we would like the work to be completed as soon as possible so that it can be included on our new website and support the Sales process.

I am an experienced native English copywriter, I have been employed in a full time web content management and authorship capacity by UK based companies for the last ten years. Since starting to build up my freelance work I have written web content, ebooks, and articles for a variety of clients around the world.

Is it possible for you to be more specific about the number of marketing documents you are going to need? You website copy I can probably complete in a couple of days, although I would like to see it before committing myself to a timescale.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. I will be happy to put in a bid, but you did ask for contact on this board first.

We already have a number marketing brochures that were done by us - there is one for each major application. We currently have 6-7 of the apps rewritten plus we need a general one for the company. This information will also be reflected in the web site. I expect this will be ongoing for the next year as new things come online. sorry can not be more specific.

Hi. Please could you indicate the number of pages in the website. Also, are the \'marketing documents\' in the form of brochures or shorter advertising sheets?

Hello,

I would expect to work with you on a "Gateway" level - requiring one stage to be completed before progressing - thus ensuring you are happy with how things are moving.
Can you advise if the go live of the content would mirror that approach or if the content would be only updated when the entire project is complete?

Like everyone else, I agree that it would help to see the copy and the collateral that needs revamping, but I'm confident in my ability in this area.

Any information you can provide that will answer the questions about length, content etc would be greatly appreciated.
