Title:Website designer needed to create small business website for ad agency
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
Hello Web Designers
I'm starting my own advertising agency and need to create a website for the company.
The site will showcase my portfolio of work (movie, audio and jpeg files), information about the agency and about me, contact info and downloadable CV, and will have facebook and twitter buttons.
1. Site map is small - at the moment it's only 6 pages, but this will grow as the agency grows
2. I need to be able to update the site myself, adding/removing portfolio work, amending text, adding pages along the way – so CMS seems like the best idea (unless you have a better idea)
3. Site design needs to be professional, creative and sleek, not interested in flash as it isn't SEO friendly, but want the site to look sharp. Here is a good reference for what I am after : myagency co uk
This site is simple, professional but shows the agency's work excellently and it also looks creative. Note that they have just 4 main pages to the site.
4. Not critical but if the site could have an integrated blog that would be a plus.
When submitting a bid for this job, please take into consideration that I am a startup and don't have a titanic budget. (And it's also likely that my clients will need help with their websites and that I'll be hiring freelance web designers from time to time... nudge nudge)
Thanks for reading.
Look forward to your responses.
G

R. W. on 30/06/2011 13:34Hi Greg,
Do you have a domain already? If you don\'t you should look at a SEO friendly domain along with your business name domain.
Have you any preference on CMS package?
Cheers
Rob

C. W. on 01/07/2011 11:15Hi Greg,
We've already got a unique and basic PC user friendly CMS solution within our web solution, that we own 100%, and host in London (where the Internet comes into the UK) and no bandwidth issues.
Would you be interested in NOT having source code access, as our system means you don't need it?
Your budget seems about right, but I'd recommend a dadabase format for your projects as it'll be much easier to update/edit/delete/off line them.
Let me know ok
Chris
