Website Update

Hi. I am in entertainment and I have a Wordpress site that was put together for me some time ago by a friend. This enables me to myself maintain a fair sized archive and CV. Recently, I (perhaps foolishly) updated to the newer version of Wordpress and my theme, Motion. Since then it's all gone horribly wrong! I am being denied permission to upload the now-missing background photo to Filezilla, my Hitcounter isn't working and my admin access to Wordpress is a bit long winded. One or two other bits too.
