>>> Summary
I'd like someone to build me a script to spider/scrape a website, record specific information and then place the informaion into a CSV file.
The script needs to run twice a day.
>>> Detail
This is the site I want to scrape - http://bet72.com/oddsmatcher
I'd like the following functions to be set up:
1 - Enter each of the ‘Bookmakers’ within the bookmaker field.
2 - The only betting exchange I’m interested in is ‘Betfair’.
3 - Select a bet type (not important – just qualifying bet is fine)
4 - Set minimum odds
Then scrape the subsequent data fields:
> Event (Match and League)
> Start date / Time
> Outcome
> Back odds
> Lay Odds
> Closeness
5 - And place into a CSV file.
I’d need a bookmaker field adding to the CSV as well to identify which bookmaker the relevant fields related to.
The results for each query produce a page of about 20 matches, and there could tens of pages for each bookmaker. I don’t know what the implications of scraping each page of results would be – I expect it’s not ideal.
If that is the case – I’d like to narrow the results down by selecting a value for minimum odds and just scrape the first page of results for each bookmaker.
The minimum odds will be 2.7 and just the first page of results need to be scraped.
The scrape needs to run at 7am and 7pm.
Any questions - let me know.
