Do you have the URL of your current site? And do you have any preference as to what language the website is coded in i.e. HTML/ASP/PHP?
Regards
Mark

K. B. on 22/04/2010 16:52Hi Mark, its on-line-consultants.co.uk but is very old indeed. I think HTML will do (not basing that on much). I will post a typical page. Cheers, Ken

Hi Ken,
Would you want to use a CMS (content management system) or would you be happy opening and editing the files using a free HTML editor installed on your PC?
Thanks,
Dan

A. W. on 22/04/2010 23:20Hi Ken
i've had a look at your current site.
Please have a look at my profile where you will find a list of sites i've done.
The register form on your site, do you know what language that uses to send the email to you? to find out open the
On the marketing side of things i would recommend a newsletter signup area and then sending regular news letters to the people on the list. also a blog/news section on the site that you can update yourself with new content.
With SEO side of things i can tell you why you might be struggling at the moment with this. you only have one page, I know you have links to other pages but your url does not change because the site is built in frames which is a big big no no if you want a modern search engine friendly site.
It would be a push to get this all done for under £250 but if you like my work and initial ideas for the site then let me know and i will be happy to bid for this project.
regards
Adam

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
