S. D. on 04/10/2011 15:43Hi Renata,
Just a few questions before I can submit a bid, thanks.
Any idea how many pages the website will require?
Is it simply taking the existing website and re-designing each page?
Are you supplying all images / graphics and copy?
Is the site needing Content Management System for you to edit the site in the future?
Or is it a static brochure style site?
Kind regards,
Simon

R. P. on 05/10/2011 12:031.Well, have a look at www.happyhomestaff.co.uk
I assume we will need main page and few others maybe 4-5
2.Almost, i am thinking of slightly changing the functionality - to make it slightly simpler, it is something I hope I will decide with designer
3. I have an illustration which I want to use, but there might be need for some more graphics/images
4. not sure
5 yes
S. D. on 05/10/2011 12:32Hi Renata,
Thanks for the reply to my message.
I've just had a quick look at the website and was wondering if you had any ideas about what you want for the new site's functionality?
Have you seen any other sites that has given you inspiration?
Also, I could do with knowing if you require a Content Management System to give an accurate bid. If you need to add things to the site in the future then I would recommend having one as they are simple to use and wouldn't require you employing a webmaster to oversee the site. Although I am capable of doing that it would be less costly in the long run for you.
How do you see the registration process being for the site, same forms or a new way?
You have also put down the budget range at £15-£20 Per Hour, have you a budget to work to because an hourly rate could end up being quite costly and could get out of hand. Because if it take say a couple of weeks to do you could be looking at a minmum of over grand?
Sorry for all the questions I just want to be sure before I submit a bid.
Kind regards,
Simon
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
