We are looking for someone to provide ongoing support for our website and to suggest improvements. We have an existing simple website that we cannot edit or manage. We also want integrate with Twitter and facebook (eg put a Facebook LikeBox on the page). Very important that we can make frequent updates easily to keep it fresh. Greetings
I have gone through your requirements
I want to ask two things..
1- Is there any chance to see the url so I can get on which technology your website is running?

S. P. on 24/04/2011 23:28Hi David,
I've just looked at your website and know what you need.
Before I place a bid, can you just clarify that I am right in thinking that if you want to make changes to the site now, you have to edit the PHP pages and sift through the website code to update content? Or is there some kind of admin login where you can edit just the page content (so you don't see any code) and save it?
I look forward to placing an accurate, competitive bid when I have this information.
Kind regards,
Stuart

D. J. on 25/04/2011 10:04Stuart, We don't know the answer, we don't even know how to get admin access to the site, we need to go back to the previous developer to find out.
Regards
David

D. J. on 27/04/2011 18:18Apologies to all, this is the first time we used people per hour and we got swamped by bids, we are working through, so don't despair!
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
