Title:Web design, logo, web development, and intergration of a searchable database

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

We looking for a developer to produce for us a flexible platform which would perform in a similar way to www.findababysitter.com, which will be an introduction site, to introduce customers to specialists who will provide full time or part time support around the house, with various activities such as cooking, cleaing, homehelp etc. The site should provide a flexible platform where specialists can enter their data into a form and also attach photos, CV's references, qualification details to their profile, and customers can, via a seperate form fill in their details and requirements, the system should then match the customers to the specialists with the relevant skill sets, and in the correct area and price range. As some customers will be mature we will need the site to be compliant with web designs for the elderly. It has been suggested that to develop a bespoke fully functioning phase 1 site would take 20 days. We expect to add addtional functionality as phase 2. We dont have to go for a bespoke site and are open to suggestions as platfoms may already exist which a developer could utiise, we do however need the structure to contain CMS and be flexible to add in extra functionality and data verification etc.

I have just checked the site again and it appears OK

http://www.findababysitter.com/

You could base the functionality on:

http://www.aupairworld.net/

but without the need for multi lingual approach and we are not very keen on the cluttered layout as it is possible on our site in the future that we will add banners from advertisers so we need to keep it clean and simple.

Many thanks for your interest

Hi John,

Do advertisers have to pay to join and add their details or is it a free service at the moment.

Regards

Rob

Good question, yes it is out intention to charge yes, but for the first 12 months the site will be free, we are not really sure of how the business logics will develop so we need a flexible system that could allow a small charge to both customers (advertisers) and specialists (people looking for jobs/positions). That said however we may choose to keep the site free, as we also have the oppurtunity to add banner advertising at a later date.

Sorry to be vague, but I think the architecture should allow for payment to be taken in the future, but it will be free to start.

Many thanks for your interest

Dear John R,

Do you need a separate login form for both
customers and specialists?

If the customer wants to show interest about the
specialists then what about the options for
the customers to contact?

Regards,
Saran

Thank you for your question, yes there will be seperate forms for the customers as they will list, name, address, contact numbers, service preference such as part time or full time, and service required. For the specialist they will list, name address etc, male, female, drive with own car, drive but no car, qualifications and training done, work experience, specialisation, Crb checked, availabilty, age

A similar site can be seen at:

http://findacarer.com

We want customers to be able to search for specialists and not the other way around as we dont want customers inundated with contacts, so once a customer has indentified a carer in their area or with the skill sets that match theirs they can email, or phone, in the future it would be good to have a live chat or skype connection

Dear All

This new site below has a nice look and feel, and has the same business logics we are looking to adopt.

http://findacarer.com

There are also nice icons to indicate, male, female, with car, with crb etc
