Web Developer needed to work on current unfinished project and see to completion

I am looking for a new developer who is able to work in PHP, MySQL and Javascript / AJAX, to finish a site that we have had built.

We have had a site built but we need to have it finished off, as well as the old site closed down and tweeks made, I have listed all that I require below.

We had a content management system built also and need some work carried out on this as to how it displays articles. (I will send log in details to developers who wish to tender based on the information I provided, to the back door and to our online hosting system)

Please take time to look through the site and get to grips with the issues I have with it.

Main site changes:

Twitter feed to be placed on home page

Youtube feed to be placed on home page, so can be linked to back door and url links to the vids changed (if that’s how It works)

Competition page to be added with back door access and editability

The links at the bottom of the page, take out the word press option. These all need to link through to the correct sites (links will be provided)

About us, T&C’s and Privacy policy need to be links to new pages not just drop down options.

I would like to add a section on the games page for game videos, these would be small size trailers for new releases, we would need the option to upload these placed into the backdoor area.


Changes to the backdoor/content management system:

When you upload any article regardless of section it asks you for a cd star rating, this needs to only happen for the cd reviews.



latest news on the home page, I need to be able to upload to this, There is no option in the back door, so I would need to have that added in so its an exclusive link, this would need an auto archive function so that once the 5 articles are full it gets moved to music news page without the need to move it, or it can just be archived in the latest news section

When an article is uploaded, it shows on the main screen, the font is too large and there is no intro text, also it displays the old person who uploaded the info from our old site, this name needs to not be there. (please pick a header font size, an intro font size and a body font size and put a rule in place so this works the same on all articles) header font should be Bauhaus, with intro and body just times new.

There is a problem with the advert upload page, I tried to upload one image, it didn’t work, then tried a new one, and it uploaded both and moved the right column down, this needs to view on the back door as the new updated advert, the file size limit needs to be 10mb, and when the URL link is added it needs to link to the image/advert on the website and go to the advertisers website.

On the article upload we need to have a preview option when you select a template to use for the article and add in images and text you have a preview option that shows you how it will look.

All new articles when they are uploaded need to appear at the top of each of the relevant sections as new ones get added then they just move down one, newest first and always at top.

On the article upload page we need a box for an email address and message that will send an email to the address we put in to it, once article has been signed off (each article once uploaded has to be signed off by me or the editor before it goes live, its when we hit ok, that the email gets sent), this isn’t to be shown on the article, what this does is as there is something uploaded it then sends a link and the message to the email address entered in the box.

On back door the contributor info is down on contributor tab,

Archive date is not required for articles, please can this be removed.

We need an automatic picture re sizer for when we upload images, it needs to adjust the image to fit the space assigned, on all images. If you can add a converter to this so it makes all images RGB from CMYK if its required. All images will be 300DPI.

Once these have been finished and we are happy with the site and its functionality then we would need the site to be placed live.

The main thing will be finding your way around the system and programming that has been done already.
