Hi there

I need someone to assist me on projects please. Specifically, I am looking for someone to help me with the following:

o Excel knowledge: High level understanding of data formatting, accurate data entry, and basic knowledge of formula entry (know the difference between relative and absolute referencing for example)

o Power Point design: Good eye for design to create high impact presentations

o Proof reading and data checking: A good eye for detail is important since my clients rely on the quality of my data and reports. Being able to proof read at short notice would be great.

o Travel: Finding me info on best travel fares and hotels (you should know your way around all the tripadvisor.co.uk search engines)

o Diary management: Managing my diary (can you configure your Outlook so that if you email my clients, it comes from my business address?)

o Finding best price on ebay or Amazon for whatever my latest passion may be! :) (Best garage to service car; new sat nav DVD, whatever)

o Helping me to find a new place to stay in London and relocate (if you\'re available to flat hunt, so much the better)

o Most of all, you\'re reliable: You know your skills and limitations. This means if you say you can do it, then you will. And if you know you will be delayed, you let me know in good time. I say all this because someone here recently told me my project would be delayed because their accountant suddenly arrived and that he was more important than my work - this is not what I wanted to hear! :)

How much work? The work comes in bursts - sometimes 5 hours a week, then a week with nothing, then a 10 hour week, and so on. I haven\'t specified your hourly rate because I\'d rather you quote your normal rate. If PPH asks how many hours, quote on 10 hours a month.

Hi Max,
Of the listed tasks I am able to do 2 tasks for you:
1) I am good in MSEcxcel and I can do just anything you may require on Excel (not VBA coding). I have a fairly good knowledge of its functions, formulas and shortcut keys. These shortcuts makes me fast to work on Excel and I can cut down the required time to almost half.

2) Proof reading and data checking. I am good in this too.

Hi Max,

I read your Project Description with great interest and would have loved to place a bid. However, while I excel (no pun intended!) at a number of the tasks you have listed, many of the others are not within my area of expertise. I note you want to find someone who can cover the full range of tasks and so unfortunately I won't be able to bid on this occasion. just wanted to wish you all the best with your endeavours and I hope you will post again on PPH if your requirements change.

Hi Max,

I am really very interested in your project and can complete all the tasks required, provide references and I am in the UK.

Having a very good geographical knowledge of the UK, a keen eye for detail amongst many other attributes, I think we would work very well together.

One question though, if I may - do you have a requirement for somebody to be available during core hours or specific days during the week?

Yes, there will be a requirement for specific times I suspect. For example, if a client asks for a report by the end of the day (and I can never know what day it is), I may need proof reading on a specific afternoon. Now of course whoever I work with may not be available, but regularly not being available on specific days would be a disadvantage.

Is it possible for someone outside the UK to apply for this position? I am working remotely for almost 2 years and would love to know if there is a possibility? So i should be maintain all standad time like EST, IST, GMT, etc.. for 24X7. I hope i am completly satisfaction for your requirement.
