Title:Virtual assistant required!
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
My business is growing quickly! I need some help. We do guaranteed rent in North and West London under the name Fixedrent. its just me at the moment and I need the services of a virtual assistant on an ad-hoc basis, but over time this will develop more and more. Duties will be varied, but initially i will need someone to maintain websites, write letters and generally be available during daytime hours on the other end of the phone.
Ideally im looking for someone who is a virtual assistant full time and lives within an hour of NW London as I want to work with someone who it is possible to meet on occasion!

I would be grateful if you could give me further insight into what the business actually does as I am very interested in the position. Is there a website I can visit ?
Many thanks

H. K. on 08/01/2009 11:19Hi Tom
Please could you clarify whether you would like someone to handle your business calls or be available for you to call throughout the day?
Many thanks
Hester
T. N. on 09/01/2009 10:16I need someone that i can reach throughout the day, but not to take business calls. Initially i need someone to maintain my online presence via websites such as gumtree, craigslist and other portals. then I need someone who i can call to get a letter sent out, chasing, general admin and assitance to me as i am out on the quite a lot and sometimes need someone who is sitting in front of a pc to help!
T. K. on 13/01/2009 13:36Hi Tom
Can you advise me what web tools you use to maintain your presence on the websites you mentioned previously
Thanks
Ted Kerr

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
