Title:User Manual - Microsft Access/Word

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

I need to complete user manual for this access/word based application.

They are all programed using vb code in access.

The manual should have a step by step explanation of how to do each thing in the application (add new records, search for current ones, create reports, send and print letters etc.) The functions are not special in fact they are straight from access right click menus etc.

The explanation should be accompanied by screenshots of each step/change/event, so that it is clear for a user that is not familiar with it what exactly are the steps to follow to do what they need too.

There also needs to be a section on creating a word mail merge from the access database. Templates are made a lot but are very easy to make and they would start from a blank letter template not a blank page.

There is only one screen in the application and I've attached a screenshot which may help.

I may also want a troubleshooting section, eg it wont open, so log off, turn off computer, turn off server ad restart everything or system slow so turn off routers etc
Manual to be written in english

I would prefer work to be completed within 5 working days

Hi Brian

This project sounds right up my street but I am unclear whether you want a section in the user manual on creating templates or just that they are already in place and to be used as the base documents for mailmerge and the user needs to be directed to their location.

Please clarify. Many thanks

It's a little of both really.. there are documents/templates there already which they need to copy and modify.. hope this explains enough?
