Title:USA Telemarketing Project - Experienced People Required

Sales & Marketing Services UK is a UK-based telemarketing company that services the UK, mainland Europe, and America.
We have a requirement for several experienced telemarketers to make calls to USA during business hours. You can either work 7 hours, or in half-day slots of 3.5 hours.
Most of the calls are simple just a question or two - no selling or cold-calling. All calls are to IT professionals that have subscribed to an online news and information site, so they will be friendly and receptive.
Here is a brief overview of the requirement for this project :
You will be required to call companies in USA & ask the named contacts if they would like to receive an industry report produced by a leading technology provider. You then need to update the excel spreadsheet with a Yes or No response, then fill in any missing data fields, such as postcode for example.
You may also be making calls to contacts who have received an email invitation to attend a conference or seminar - you will need to ask if the contact or their colleagues plan to attend the conference. You then need to update the excel spreadsheet with their responses.
The pay is £100/7-hours a day.
We are flexible, so you can work half a day at a time if required.
Start week-commencing 19 October
Length of project 5 days a week available till end-December, with further work in 2010 You can work part-time if you like
The position is temporary working on a freelance basis.
You will need a PC with Microsoft Excel and phone with landline.
