Job Description

Scriptwriter required for 2 to 6 month contract to write multi media training programmes for our client, a UK financial services company. IRO £25k p.a. equivalent.

Applicants will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in producing scripts for training videos and ideally web based mutli media programmes.

Knowledge or experience of writing for UK financial services companies would be an advantage. This postition is only open to writers who can prove their track record in such programmes (please do waste your own, or our, time by applying if this does not sound like 'meat and drink' to you. i.e. you know exactly what type of writer we are looking for and have done it before)!

The job would involve taking the brief for a series of programmes from the client (based in Swindon) and distilling this, and considerable written collateral, into a series of lively, but business like training programme scripts.

Given the intensity of the production schedule we would prefer to have your full and undivided attention for the duration of the contract, but for the right candidate we may be prepared to accept that you have some other work on at the same time.

Hi there,

Are these effectively CBTs for financial service companies - and if so, what is the subject domain - or is it training about the financial services industry? It would make a difference to my bid...

Hi. The programmes are all CBT. A mix of video, VoiceOver, animation, bullets etc. The subjects would range from Anti money laundering to a programme about how to follow the client's sales process. We would consider paying a day rate and travel expenses. We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience of working in this medium.
