Title:The Knowledge

Location:Remote

Job Description

I have a fantasy drama novel nearing completion. It is mainly first person narrative, but three third person narritive stories which continue throughout the course of the book. Culminating in a (to be continued) ending. My problem is pace, substance and most of all, setting of these three within the main story. The three subplots have to be integrated at such a point within the main story as to have an impact.
Note : Very graphic in it\'s depiction and could be controversial in it\'s subject matter. Regards David

Clarification Board

Hi David,

There are several problems with your job request. First, I\'m not sure what you\'d want a writer to do with your manuscript. Are you after a ghost writer or someone to advise you and edit what you\'ve done? Who is your target audience? Do you have a publisher/agent in mind? What\'s the timescale involved? The other problem is the fee you are offering. £100 might get you a day\'s work from a writer. Can you clarify your request before I consider bidding?

Many thanks

Laurence

Hi David,

From what I've seen of your manuscript, there is a lot of work needed to bring this up to scratch, just from layout alone.

With regards the rest, I agree with Laurence in that before anyone can really bid, they need to know what they need to be doing.

Some clarification would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Nick

Thank you to all that have replied to my request for assistance in the presentation and formatting of my manuscript. I have been impressed with the varied responses to this.
The reason I have been vague with the subject matter is that I don't want to let a reader know what is about to happen. I need someone to tell me if each chapter had an ending they didn't expect. Therefore anyone wishing to assist me on this project would have to read a bit more than just a chapter or two. I need someone who has the same passion for this genre and in particular my own writing as I do. Therefore the main problem I have is structure, where to incorporate the three into the one. Anyone reading this manuscript will not know what is happening until approx 60,000 words into the book and I need it that way for the ending to work ie all things to combine.
Sorry if I am a pest here, it's just the way I need to do this.
Thanks again David
