Job Description

Due to the recent departure of our previous telemarketer I need a telemarketer who can work from our office in Banbury, Oxfordshire short-term for up to 4 weeks. I am currently advertising the role as a permanent position but as of yet I have received no applications from worthy applicants. The role primarily is to sell advertising space in wedding publications and, as we are currently in the middle of a sales campaign I need someone asap whilst I continue the search for a permanent employee.

Here is the advertisied job role:

This position requires an accomplished Telemarketer with extensive telesales experience. As part of the Sales department you will be responsible for sourcing and developing new business, database cleansing, cold and warm calling and you will be expected to achieve an average of 40 calls per day, and meet targets of at least 20 qualified appointments or 8 sales each month.

Duties include:

- Follow up marketing campaigns and information requests
- To maintain and update a database, including tasks such as database cleansing
- Outbound cold and warm calling from a database
- Arranging sales meetings and selling advertising and services over the telephone
- To provide customer support, effectively building relationships with potential and existing clients and answering queries received via email or telephone
- General office admin from filing to issuing invoices

The hours for the position are 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday-Thursday.

- Confident professional telephone manner, engaging and influential
- The ability to converse with senior decision makers
- Reliability and motivation
- Resilience and determination
- Computer literate (knowledge of Office, Sage Act! and Sage Accounts an advantage)
- Good organisational and administration skills

Job Budget

Job type:Hourly Job

Weekly commitment needed:30 Hours Per Week

Budget:Hourly: £6 - £8 per hour
