Job Description

We are a Devon based Architectural Services company that mainly does extensions and new build for private clients. Occassionaly we do commercial work. We are looking for someone to employ regularly on a job by job basis to provide the structural design and calculations necessary for our work. Type of work generally is to calculate and specify beam, timber and lintel sizes. Also simple structural concrete detiling and calculations. Occasionaly retaining structures and portal frames. CAD drawings preferred though not essential. Swift turnaround, quality work and must have PI insurance. Please visit our website at www.archideus.co.uk to see the type of work we do before bidding. Hello Justin

I did not accept any bids for this project as the one cut roof design has been postponed. However i do have an ongoing requirement from time to time for a structural design engineer to provide things like steel beam designs and lintel design, raft foundations and a lot of cut roof design work particularly for loft conversions etc. mainly domestic and residential but sometimes commercial.
