Title:Some design, website building
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
www.capitalgreen.eu is a recruitment company that specialises in clean technology (renewable energy etc), environmental, carbon finance, climate change and other “green” but commercial sectors.
A designer has designed a logo and the basic concept for the web site, now we need a designer/developer to put the finishing touches on the design and build the site. We are looking to release two versions of the site within 8 weeks.
The first version is only 12 pages and will be static (unless i get other suggestion). The next version will have a job search and application facility (this integrates into our recruitment system).
In a nutshell someone needs to take what has been done by our designer, put in our content, tweak the pages, design a few minor graphics, add a form to the contact us page......Any other suggestions will be gratefully accepted.
Job Budget
Type:Fixed Price
Budget:Up to £250 (Approx Up to $392)

R. C. on 01/07/2009 15:15forgot to mention (was in a hurry when placing bid)
I have a content managed template that might fit the bill as it is editable (re style look and feel of site) and it would allow you to edit the web pages for yoursleves once set in place
I usually offer it feel to my web hosting customers usefull for novices allows them to get a site up and running quickly and they can then add new pages and edit them as they please
S. E. on 01/07/2009 15:33hello there, could you please give us the design of the page. This way it will be easier to estimate how long and how much
Regards,
Simeon
J. D. on 01/07/2009 17:59Another project in the funny league. Asking for all this for less than £250 will result in quality (NOT!) akin to the logo example supplied. Not only is the design messy in the extreme, but the 'designer' can't even spell (or bother to use a spell checker).
Heigh ho...

M. C. on 01/07/2009 19:00Hi Regan,
£250.00 is far too low for what you are asking for for professionals like ourrselves.
A GCSE student could probably do this for you but you would not get the quality that you are after.
Michael.
M. B. on 01/07/2009 20:07I'm also interested to know who did the logo design... I don't think he/she was a professional designer ?
D. A. on 02/07/2009 09:49Hi Regan,
Is your budget just for the 12 page static site, or for whole thing including the integration into your recruitment system?
If it's just for the initial static site then I will put in a bid. I would of course like to do the second phase, but this would require a seperate budget.
Thank you,
David
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
