Title:Small Garments seamstress
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
A start up company needs the skills of a qualified seamstress to make pouches in an eco friendly fabric. This pouches will then be filled and closed with a ribbon and will be on sale over the web and as wholesale. The materials used will be 100% natural and eco friendly and it is therefore imperative that the job be done in the most eco friendly way possible (waste must either be disposed of properly or returned to us for disposal). Initial order will be the samples range and around 500 pieces once samples have been approved. I will then require replenishment stock for website and one off orders for wholesale clients.
I have attached a picture of the kind of pouches in question but please note the material will be different and possibly the way we attach the ribbon.
I am happy for an hourly rate to start with but after initial order, I would prefer having a cost per bag as this would make my costings much more manageable.

D. C. on 09/02/2012 14:41Hi Nina,
the pouches come in 3 sizes so, I will need one of each made before I can proceed with the order. All pouches will be made in one material and one colour.
I am currently finalising my eco friendly ribbon and I have to decide between 2 fabrics. You will be provided with fabric, ribbon and thread as they will all be eco friendly and I will need for the pouches to be cut and sewn.
I hope this answers your question and for any further information, please feel free to contact me.
Best Regards,
Daniela

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
