Title:Simple 8 Page Website Needing Built - ASAP
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
Hi,
I have a website that I have designed, and now need to get built asap. It is a small 8 page site including a 'Contact Us' page with a standard enquiry form. It's a 2 column layout and the front screen has a large image area which will have 3 rotating images. I've attached a visual to give a better idea of what's involved.
No need for hosting, final files to be handed over to the client for them to host.
The deadline is very tight and needs to be completed by 6.9.11. This can't slip.
Any more info then give me a shout.
Mairi

J. K. on 22/08/2011 17:07Is this job just to code the structure and cosmetic appearance of the site, based on a design and content supplied by you?

M. M. on 22/08/2011 17:09Yes that's right, I'll supply all the layouts.
O. F. on 22/08/2011 17:31Hi Mairi,
When you say you'd supply all layouts does that mean all fonts, graphics and images required in the design as well?
Thanks, Oliver

M. M. on 22/08/2011 17:45Hi, yes I'd supply all the graphics, images etc. The body font is Arial but all other titles which are Din will be images.

Does the client require to update the pages or are they static?
Thanks
David
Reply from Client
M. M. on 22/08/2011 17:46HI, they're all static.
D. A. on 22/08/2011 17:56Thanks Mairi
One more question:
As regards the contact page, does the client have any scripting support, eg php, asp, perl, etc..
Thanks again
David

M. M. on 22/08/2011 18:18I'm not 100% sure but I think so. They are a tech company and it's only because they're too busy at the moment getting ready for a big oil show that they can't build it themselves. They have built their sister company's site - www.tech27.com - if that helps?
O. F. on 22/08/2011 18:04Ah ok thanks for the clarification. I asked just in case you wanted to use a text replacer like Cufon to replace fonts where needed, in which case I would have needed the font file. Thanks again, Oliver
D. A. on 22/08/2011 18:26Thanks Mairi
I'll submit a bid now.
Regards
David
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
