Sewing Machinist

I am looking for an experienced sewing machinist to assemble three different products using samples provided (a dog jacket, a dog bed, and a large carry bag with straps). The items will be supplied either ready to assemble (i.e. the fabric will already be cut out) or will have been partly assembled, requiring additional finishing (e.g. edging). Two of each product are required initially.

Ideally, the winning bidder will sew to a professional standard, be skilled with binding and edging, and be located within reasonable driving distance of Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.

I would like to agree on a fixed price per item rather than an hourly rate because the products will then be sold at set prices. There is potential for regular part time work for the right person.
