Clarification Board
T. A. on 12/09/2009 10:29It's not clear what you want here - are you trying to find a regular associate to work with or is this project specific? Either way it's not possible to bid in these circumstances.
I've over ten years of research experience at Blue Chip professional services firms including Egon Zenhder, McKinsey, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley.
I currently work as consultant specialising in media work with a focus on executive search and market research.
I'd be interested to learn more about what you are proposing.
Best
Tom
C. F. on 21/09/2009 13:23Thanks Tom. I'm looking for an associate. If you bid I can explain more. Ciaran
M. S. on 21/09/2009 14:19Ciaran,
My understanding is that bidders seek clarification from the buyer during the bidding process and refine or amend their bid before the deadline.
Bidding is now closed to potential providers. Are you intending to extend or re-post this project?
Mike.

I'm afraid I'm new to People Per Hour. I hadn't seen Tom's 12/9 query until today. I also hadn't realised that the bidding porcess closes so quickly. I will therefore try to extend the process to get Tom's input. Hope this is clear.

S. B. on 21/09/2009 18:53Hi Ciaran
I just saw that bidding has been extended - are you ruling out the prior bidders ( myself included) or do you want us to bid again?
thanks for clarifying
Sheila Beniams
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
