Title:Sales Letter
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
My company handmakes some natural products.
I would like to approach some retailers and would like an introductory sales letter to send to retailers by email. I would like a winning sales letter which will intrigue the retailer to open the email and read it and get all excited about the product. I really need the retailer to contact me back with an expression if interest.

C. S. on 01/02/2010 13:08Hi Beaullah
I am quite close to another firm who retails natural beauty products and who has gone from being a small shop in a local town, to retailing its wares in Selfridges in London, and most recently, Australia.
Retailers will receive dozens of emails and letters each day. So, to stand out from the crowd, you need to be able to produce small trial samples of your products and send one out each time with a letter. In this way, you will stand out from the pile of post and emails that day and the retailer will immediately be able to see what you're talking about without having to go to the effort of visualising what you're saying or believing your marketing spiel.
Sorry if that's not what you want to hear, but I am trying to save your budget by tweaking your campaign idea slightly!
Regards
Claire
F. C. on 01/02/2010 13:15Hello,
Would you be willing to attach an offer to the letter? The response rate for direct mail is extremely low, therefore a promotion or incentive to respond is an idea.
Is this something that you would be able to do?
Faye
B. D. on 01/02/2010 13:30Hi Claire
Thanks a lot, thats a brilliant idea. I will go with that idea of sending a letter together with a sample. I already have samples which I normally send my customers.
B. D. on 01/02/2010 13:35Hi Faye
Thanks a lot for your response. I would like to send the lettter by post with a sample of my product (as per Faye's suggestion). I dont mind having a promotion for this, I actually have a few ideas in mind of some promotions for the retailer.
P. W. on 01/02/2010 13:39Do you have a website for your natural products? This would help me frame my approach and proposal for your sales letter. Alternatively, can you provide me with any information regarding the nature and benefits of your range to the end consumer.
B. D. on 01/02/2010 13:53Paul
To be precise, the products are natural perfumes, all natural they do not contain any snthetic additives as compared to streamline perfumes.
C. S. on 02/02/2010 07:15Good morning!
What type of natural product is it?
Who are your main competitors and how do they sell?
When do you need the letter?
Kind regards,
Ciara
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
