Job Description

Start up Recruitment business requires a freelance lead generator on a part time basis.

John Day Recruitment is a recently formed company. It is a recruitment business focused within the IT industry across all sectors for both contract and permanent. It is very early days and new business is the most critical factor at this point.

The Director of John Day was able to start the business because he is working with a seed client which he does all of the recruitment for. This is a low cost way to start a business but the challenge currently is handling the seed client's workload and developing new business.

Responsibilities:

Working form home
Cold calling
Building relationships
Spreading the principles that John Day is founded on.
Reporting to the Director of John Day with with new leads.

Qualities Required:

Excellent communication skills
Money Hungry
Tenacious
Driven
Experience in the recruitment industry - 1 year minimum

Targets:

I am targeted to 4 placements a month which means I need at least 16 hot leads a month to achieve this. A good lead generator should be able to generate 2 hot leads per day. This equates to 4 leads per week doing 2 days of work per week.

Remuneration:

If you buy into this, you're buying into an idea that we're going to grow this company and with that serious rewards will come later.
For the moment on offer is £250 p.wk and 30% of the fee from successfully placed candidates.

You will need:
A computer and you're own work space.

This is an excellent opportunity to be involved with a business start up at the beginning. This would be an excellent fit for a new parent that wants to work from home on a part time basis.

Will you be providing ideas of profiles you have on your books to be selling/marketing to the clients, i.e rather than just calling saying do you have any jobs? Tends to work better in my experience.

Hi Frances,

I certainly can do that, We could easlily put together some profiles for different sectors and then you would use the relevant profile depending on the industry sector the prospect operates in. I am open to suggestions as long as they open up requirements for us to fill.
