M. B. on 13/09/2010 19:17Hi Andrew,
I'm interested in your position, however I'm CIMA qualified, rather than ACA / ACCA, which means I can't audit. Would you be prepared to consider an application from myself? I currently do occassional outsourced accounts prep from bookkeeping past TB to final IRIS statements for a local Accountancy practice, and I am local enough to attend your premises. If you would consider my qualification, I can bid accordingly. Margaret

M. C. on 26/09/2010 14:51Hi Andrew,
Just following up on our previous messages - I am unable to message you directly so had to post here, sorry.
I would like to put myself forward again for your role if that's okay, I am going to need to do less work for the firm I'm with now as I'm in danger of being caught by IR35. On that basis, the partners have agreed to let me have some time back to offer to other firms so I can now offer you time during the week.
If you're still interested we'd need to have a sensible chat about exactly what you want/need and go from there.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Michael

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
