Job Description

I have written a number of poems over the last few months and I'm strongly considering publishing a book collecting them all together.

Before I do that, I would like to gather opinions on whether the work is publishable and likely to be profitable.

The deliverable for this project would be a one page summary of your opinions of the work and any initial suggestions you may have for improving it.

There are two areas I would like to focus on to start with. I believe my selection may have been too broad and my ordering of the poems may leave something to be desired. Of course, all criticism will be welcomed and considered.

If I do decide to take this forward, there will be further editing work available to help me make sure the finished project is as polished and appealing as possible.

One point I should have included in the project posting is that of length. The manuscript is 50 pages of A5 long.

Do you want just a simple summary of the general feel of your manuscript (like a readers' report) or are you interested in a poem-by-poem opinion that is just one page long by someone more specialised?
