Title:Php script needed

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

Essentially I need a small custom php script that can extract all the tables ( 2 fields per table) in a MySQL data base and output the results as an XML file. It would need to update the XML file as and when the database tables are updated. I have a live search Ajax / php app that will search the XML file based on the users search.

I have found a script online that does this particular function but I am not familiar enough with php to edit the variables needed for my required set up ie the XML tags and location of where the XML file is saved too.

Many thanks in advance. I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards

Mark

Hi Mark,

Would it be acceptable to update the XML file every 15 minutes (for example), or does it need to be absolutely up-to-date at all times, i.e. the XML file is updated as soon as the database is?

The second way would involve editing the PHP files of your back-end admin area too, which would obviously increase the price I bid.

Regards,

Stuart Pinfold
