Title:Photography Web Page Finetuning

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

I am in need of someone who can help me 'mop up' my website. The guy who designed the website went out of business and now no longer hosts the site himself, which lead to a number of minor (but very irritating) problems.

The work I need done is very specific, and as follows:

1. The lightbox feature needs to be repaired/installed: when you click on any of the photo's, a lightbox should open, with 'next' icon also available to scroll backwards and forwards while in the lightbox.

2. Most importantly: a mechanism by which I can upload/remove the photographs myself by dragging and dropping...this worked fine, but since my host changed to justhost.com, I can't do this anymore. This is crucial to me.

3. Setting up my email so that the mails forward from my web address to my gmail address automatically - at the moment I cannot access my emails.

As the bulk of the work for the website has been done, these should only be small things for someone who's done something similar before, hence the price paid will not be too high (i.e. definitely under 100 pounds). Please note that I do not have any web-design skills, so if it will involve me having to do lots of technical stuff, don't even bid. I want to give you my hosting details, and you need to be able to sort everything out remotely.

Examples of work similar to my requirements would be an advantage.

PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU CANNOT DO EXACTLY WHAT IS SPECIFIED.

Kind regards,

danni

Hi Danni. I am insterested in your project. I can certainly solve points 1 and 3 very quickly. In regard to the second point, how do admin images to the site. Is there a login area on the actual site, or is there speicifc software you use? Could you describe the process?

Best wishes,
Ben

Hi Ben

This is the problem. My website used to have a control panel whereby I could \'log on\' to the database and then add or delete pics as easily as dragging and dropping them from my desktop. When the webpage and database was moved to justhost.com, this facility no longer worked and I was told by justhost that they do not have the software to support the procedure I was describing - and I\'m pretty clueless so don\'t know whether there is another way. This was the most specific requirement of my original posting for a website design, as this element is crucial to me.

Hi Danette, Can you give me your site url so I can have a look at it. It's point 2 that is a bit of an unknown.
Thanks
Tony
