Title:Payroll and end of year accounts
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
Hi,
I need someone to sort my end of year accounts and also my monthly payroll. I run a webdesign company, and am the director / sole employer. My accounts have few entries and current;y I am just keeping track of them on Excel, there are generally less than 10 transactions per month, with a couple incoming and the rest outgoing for expenses etc.
The company has been set up for nearly a year (September 09 is the year end). I need someone to prepare my end of year accounts to be filed with companies house.
Additionally, I would like to start paying myself a wage, I would like this backdating to April, as the company now has a healthy cash reserve. I would then take dividends every 6 months, starting at the year end.
I need someone to sort my payroll out for me or advise software to use to sort this out, and also complete my end of year accounts and then submit them to companies house / HMRC.
If you need anymore details, please let me know. Bids can be split between monthly fee for payroll and end of year accounts if that is easier.
Thanks,
Paul

Clarification Board
R. C. on 02/07/2009 16:16Hi Sir Paul,
I am Razel Agustin from the Philippines. I am interested in your posted job. I have quickbooks Premier installed in my PC. I am by the way, working as an Accountant in one of the largest call centers here in the Philippines. I have a query though, about your payroll, do you have any other employees, aside from you? I can easily set up your books accounts using Quickbooks, but mind you that I am not familiar with your tax laws. and by what do you mean by completing your books and submit them to your companies house?
P. P. on 02/07/2009 18:33Hi Paul
I am very interested in your vacancy, I was also looking for clarification on number of staff you would be paying. I assume it would be just yourself from your ad though?
Many thanks
Pauline
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
