Title:Packaging Designer/Artworker for a fashion brand

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

We are an upmarket men's underwear brand. We need someone to design our packaging which is very important part of the product. We use a lot of colour and print in our designs and are looking for someone who can translate our brand vision in the right packaging. The whole vibe of the brand is creative, quirky and different.

Here are some more specific details regarding what we expect:

- Rustic, recycled feel, matchbox style box
- Cut out shape to see through to underlying design in middle of box
- We're then looking at having some insert or even external label attributing info about each design and it's author- inspiration of design, music tastes etc to allow interaction between consumer and designer
- One box should fit all designs, then we will add label to differentiate each design.(so we will need several different labels for the box)
- Also we were looking at selling "pack of three" of plain colours..so would need separate box for this

If you are interested please get in touch with examples of your work. Rate is up for negotiation depending on experience.

Hi Iliana,

Quick question please before I bid so I can give you an accurate quote - is the net for what you need designer for already done or would this have to be designed too please?

Many thanks

Marc

Hi Marc,

If by net you mean website and etc. no it's not designed yet but as for the moment we really need to sort out the packaging first. If you could give us a separate quote for both though it would be best.

best wishes,
IIliana

Sorry Illiana,

By net I meant the package itself - dimensions/shape etc.

Sometimes on packaging projects this has already been done by the manufacturer, and all that is left is the graphics on the box itself.

Thanks

Marc

Hi M.L. we need the whle packaging designed not only the graphics. I have some more info for what we are looking into as a final project.

Rustic, recycled feel, matchbox style box
Syndicut badge (yellow and blue) at top, with some use of the subordinate "S" logo
Cut out shape to see through to underlying design in middle of box
Colours should be probably brown recycled card as base, with some simple pastel colours introduced to brighten, but not clash with bright colours - Almost Art Deco palatte
"Box of shorts" - We liked this, but not as main feature, but maybe use of text on side or bottom
We're then looking at having some insert or even external label attributing each designer - inspiration of design, music tastes etc to allow interaction between consumer and designer to demonstrate personal value.
One box should fit all designs, then we will add label to differentiate each design.
Also we were looking at selling "pack of three" of the plain colours..so would need separate box for this..

Hi Iliana,

Would you be able to specify a few things so i can make an accurate bid?
- How many items of packaging are you looking to be designed
- Do you already know what these will be packaged in (sizes of boxes etc)
- Do you already have a logo/brand or is this also needing designed.

If you could let me know this, that would be fantastic.

Thanks,

Kirsty

Hi,

I would love it if you could send me some example photos of your products or anything your brand is about so I can get some mockups done for you.

Regards,

Charlie Morton
