Title:PHP/MYSQL developer wanted to complete website

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated freelancer with PHP/MYSQL experience along with knowledge of CSS, content management systems (FCKeditor) and Flash to complete development of our e-commerce site. The site is about 90% complete, but there are numerous loose ends that need tying such as:
Restoring/tweaking existing functionality and adding a small amount of new features
Stylistic enhancements related to the look & feel (includes a small amount of Flash i.e. animated menus and buttons)
Tweaking of Flash photo/video gallery
Reformatting of mobile-friendly micro-site

The website files exist on a virtual server, but the site is not live. The first task is to restore the site and the MYSQL database. We will then take screen-shots of the pages and mark them up in PowerPoint. This will form the basis of a brief that will provide crystal clear guidance of exactly what is required. At various stages along the way, we will take responsibility for testing of the functionality and report back to you with any issues.

Ideally, we would like to see the site fully functional by the end of August.

The possibility of a long-term maintenance agreement may arise depending on performance/level of communication, etc.

Hi MilesWe cannot provide a detailed spec as the site is not currently active. We need someone to get the site up and running again and from there, we will be able to prepare a crystal clear brief based on marked-up screen shots.I don't know what is involved in achieving this so I think the best way to proceed is to have prospective developers quote for this first step. Once this is completed, we will pay the developer, close the job and then prepare a second job using the full brief derived from the screen shots. The site is written in PHP/MYSQL. The database was backed up and will need to be restored. All the files are already on our virtual server and so it's simply a case of getting the whole thing to work again. Once we can 'see' the site and access as much of the pages as possible we can then begin taking screen shots to assemble the brief.Hope this is reasonably clear. If you have further queries, please get in touch again.
