Title:PHP tweaking of shopping cart code
Location:Anywhere
I need some help to alter a existing shopping cart checkout page to include a function where some address details from a google map (already working on the page) populates a checkout form.
In context: The website is a fairly straightforward shopping cart site, however instead of purchasing items with a payment gateway, users add items to their cart and then at the checkout confirmation of their order all the items in the cart get emailed to themselves and also a local dealer (whos details will come from this dealer-finder google map on the page) with the idea that they are interested in buying the items and are enquiring with the dealer whether they are in stock. It is then down to the dealer to respond.
Hence at \'checkout\' instead of going to a payment gateway, the page thanks the user for their enquiry and the contents of the cart get emailed both to them and their chosen local dealer.
I\'ve basically got this car sequnce working, and got the postcode finder google map to work but need help in making the form populates when a dealer is selected, and I also help ensuring both the dealer and the user get their HTML email (also 95% working) dispalying right, on submission of their order.
(This works by instead of having the usual billing and delivery address form request at the checkout stage, the form asks for your address and then dealers address (via the dealer finder).
This should be a fairly strightforward job for someone is familiar with google map stuff and php
Cheers
Chris
