Title:PHP script: update webpage automatically with details

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

I need a solution to a website I plan to develop soon, where a user fills out fields (name, email, phone number) and tick boxes, which then generates a automatic, non moderated listing on another page which is determined by location of the user (as chosen on the initial form).
A result is then returned to the user to see if any provider/company (who also registers through a different page) matches their criteria.
So this is effectively a website where people are looking for a someone to provide them a service, they leave their information on the website automatically and they receive information if they get any matches.

For both the user and provider, the initial form will have approx 20-30 tick boxes and several data fields to be filled in.

Can you please give me an idea of time (hours) it would take to develop such a project.
Many thanks!

Hello,

I would be able to help you using a LAMP environment (Perl and MySQL) and have great experience of creating bespoke systems such as this in Perl with ease.

Do you really need this in PHP or can this be done in Perl?
If Perl is fine, then I would estimate around 4hrs inclusive.

If this is interesting to you, let me know.

Thanks very much.

Hi,

Does a provider have to manually respond (e.g. submit a bid or proposal) to a listing for the customer to receive a notification?

Or will the system automatically match up customers and providers, sending out notifications automatically?

Thanks,

Rob
