Title:PHP Developer / PHP Support
Location:Remote
Job Description
Hi,
We run 2 PHP websites and have a few minor projects to complete on one of them.
In the long run I am l looking for an ongoing support package to keep and eye on the sites and fix and bugs and make updates as and when required.
We currently run several MS servers and have these sites running on MYSQL from the a web server. It is our intention to move them to one of DB servers to free up memory so if you have knowledge on DB\'s and web servers that is going to be a major advantage.
Let me know if this suits and we can talk further.

N. B. on 19/03/2010 07:51 amHi Alex,
I run a small team which has PHP, Database Server and Web Server expertises. As a result we would be very interested in bidding on your job but the level of detail given is not really sufficient. Could you give more information, specifically do you intend to keep with MySQL for the DB Server or are you looking at moving to another RDBMS? Are you staying with MS or would you consider moving to Linux? Have you considered using a hosting service for your server?
Regards
Nigel
G. E. on 21/03/2010 15:12 pmDo you run the servers in-house currently?
If so, do you intend to keep them in-house?
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
