Title:Onsite IT Support Engineer required to maintain clients
Location:Hamsphire
Onsite IT Support Engineer required to work on an adhoc basis when called upon by our helpdesk. Area required to be covered is mainly the GU post code, but may stretch into other areas of Hampshire and Surrey.
This is a growing requirement and more work will result in the successful applicant being the chosen engineer for all our network support requirements.
You will need to be able to demonstrate through previous experience that you can support all elements of Microsoft software (Especially SBS server environments) and have a good understanding of hardware failures and how to quickly identify a fix.
Most clients will have a network size of between 3-20 and most will be running an SBS server and more than likely XP Pro clients. We need expertise in Microsoft support only, although if you do have general experience in Accounting and Customer Database Applications this would be an advantage.
Important factors are:
You must be local to the area you are covering, as onsite work is required and not everything can be fixed by remote support and in general our clients like a face on site.
You must be reliable and available to achieve a 4 hour response and 8 hour fix.
You must sign a non disclosure agreement that will enforce confidentiality so that our clients are unaware that you are a contractor and will also legally stop you approaching any of our clients for 3 years after the contract expires or you complete your time working for us.
If you can do all of this then we want to hear from you
