Many apologies for not being in touch sooner but this is our busiest period of the year (education) and it has been manic.

I hope this text covers every aspect/function of the website. The project is an idea at the moment but I will pay to get it up and running and see where it goes. The project will be an ongoing one which you will need to develop easy enough for me to maintain and there will be paid work to continue the growth of this project.

It is basically a portfolio database that needs creating with other elements.

Visitors to the website should either be people who want to register and create a portfolio or clients who want to view profiles/portfolios of suitable people they want to search for. Standard members cannot search the database • only client members have this facility.

Standard pages - Home, Who are we, Join Us • Member/Client Membership, Login, Profile, Sponsors

Functions for a Standard Member who wants to register or has already registered.

User login to be email address and password

Registration (text boxes):
First Name
Last Name
Email address - check is valid
Password x2 / confirmation

Date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy)
Male/Female (checkbox)
Can you drive • Yes No (Check box)
Region of UK (Drop Down List, North East, North West, North Yorkshire, Midlands, South East, South West London etc)
Occupation (DDL Stylist Technician Lecturer Driver Pilot) examples for now
Height (DDL Below 4ft, 4ft to 7ft as inch list, eg 5’ 10”)
Build (DDL Slight Medium Large Extra Large)

Text box for a personal statement/about self text (1000 Characters)

Integrated Image upload • upto 10 images with file size restriction of 1Mb each
Image viewer/ thumbnail gallery on profile page which will zoom in once selected with next/previous arrows or text

CV document upload also which will be downloadable from profile page.

Button/facility to edit any information on the profile page

All the above to be displayed on one page

The account will only be created if they finalise it by making a payment and becoming a member. This will then be searchable in the database. Members will need to receive an email confirmation of the creation of the account and successful payment.

Would it be possible to create a table in the database which stores discount codes and costs which would adjust the cart accordingly if a discount code is correct and accepted?
The payment scheme will be an independent service like RBS or Barclays which I will have to open an account with the options to use and PayPal/Worldpay as we do not want to hold any credit card or personal details.

Members who click the profile button and are not logged in will need to be sent to the login page. If they are already logged in and navigate to other pages then click the profile button or login buttons it will need to forward them to their profile page automatically. It will need all the check functions for the registration, ie email address already registered, password does not match in both boxes and to check that values have been entered in the checkboxes and drop down lists etc.


Functions for Client Member registration, login and search criteria.

First Name

Password x2 / confirmation

Once registration is created there will need to be a search page which will list all the criteria, region/occupation/etc used in the membership registration. These do not all have to be checked or have values, however the more the client selects will narrow down the search to specific needs.
The search findings will be displayed in a list with the first image uploaded as a thumbnail on the left with First Name, Last Name Location. Then selectable and open in a new tab/window.

There is no charge for client members to register and use the site.
