Hi Brad,

I dont usually supply an hourly rate (on the basis that someone who charges £5/hr may take 10 times as long to do what I would accomplish in an hour)

I normally quote on a project by project basis unless it is a long term client. Please could you be more specific about what is actually entailed work-wise and what kind of system is being used in-house.

Thanks.
Ben

Hi Ben,

Thank you for your prompt response and yes I understand your comments and how your experience dictates, coupled with the job in hand.

To be fair that is exactly what we are trying to acheive from past experiences in supporting design work.

We accept that projects are not always as straightforward as they may first appear or that sometimes the scope of work has not been correctly detailed, or even altered by the client themselves.

We want to avoid is paying somebody to learn technically on the job, as opposed to paying somebody the going rate for competently completing a project to a competent technical standard.

If you can submit a bid, then I can pm you some details and a couple of work schedule examples so that you can see what you would be working with and the sort of updates required.

Kind Regards

Brad
