Title:Modifications to existing Flash file

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

I currently have a flash multiple-choice quiz hosted on my site. The original creator of the flash source code has since moved onto larger projects and does not have time to undertake the relatively small modifications I require.

First, please see a published version of the flash test I would like modifying: http://www.diagrammaticreasoning.com/PPH/index.html
(note this is a temporary link for PPH purposes and as such all contact information has been removed from the site).

I have also attached the original brief given to the flash developer for reference. All features of the original brief must remain fully functional after these modifications have been made; the only changes I would like to have made are given below. Upon request I will send all the necessary files that make up the constituent parts of the flash test (e.g. fla file, swf file, xml file, php script, java script).

Modifications Required:

1. Currently on the results page, the correct answer is highlighted orange on a list of possible answers. Instead of a list of correct answers being displayed, I would like a green tick or red cross to be displayed next to the users responses according to whether they answered correctly or not. Please see attached jpg showing an example of this requirement.

2. In the newly-created space on the results page, I would like a graphic (approximately 315 x 350 pixels) to be displayed which is a hyperlink. The source code of this graphic is to point to an address updatable by me (for example linked to an xml document in the same way the header graphic currently is). The target of the hyperlink is also to be updatable by me (for example linked to an xml document in the same way the target of the small graphic solutions is currently). Please see attached jpg showing an example of this requirement.

Timescales:

3. The freelancer should submit the completed project within 72 hours of the project being awarded.

Conditions:

4. Ownership of the original flash test will remain with me and is never to be used by the freelancer in any way other than for undertaking this project. All ownership of the modified flash test created by the freelancer will transfer to me upon payment to the freelancer.

5. It is expected that the freelancer will review and acquaint themselves with the original files in order to successfully make the required modifications; the freelancer should assume no guidance will be offered on how the original flash programming was undertaken.

If you have any questions please contact me through the clarification board.
