N. P. on 11/08/2010 13:54Hi JoannaI'm afraid that it will need to be at the clients office as they will be adding and amending to the document all of next week. I will also be attending giving my steer on the design/layout of the document as we go through it.regards Nick

Can you let me know what version of Word your client is using? And will diagrams and charts need creating or will they be supplied?
Many thanks
Lesley

N. P. on 11/08/2010 17:06Hi LesleyI believe it is microsoft word 2007 on PC.I would say that there are diagrams and charts to be inserted but not sure at this stage if they need to be created from scratch. Probably not would be my guess.regardsNick
L. B. on 11/08/2010 17:11Thanks for the quick response. Does the tender document have to follow any specific brand guidelines? I'm just thinking that if it does then some reformatting of the diagrams may be required to ensure a consistent style?

C. R. on 11/08/2010 18:48Hi, Nick ~ does the document have to be done in situ? Many thanks, Claire.

N. P. on 11/08/2010 18:52I'm afraid so. There will be the whole company running about preparing bits of the document for us to format. We have to be in there office for this to work as there is a tight deadline.regardsNick
C. R. on 11/08/2010 18:53Hi, Nick ~ just read your response to Joanna which answers
my question. Would have liked to put a bid in but not to be on this occasion! Claire.

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
