Title:Membership Website

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

Hi All,

I am a foreign exchange trader and I am looking for someone to put together a simple membership website for me.

The main section of the site will feature a homepage, a page that displays the results of my trades (all text will be provided to the chosen designer), an "Information" section that I could upload articles to, an FAQ page, a "sign up" page where they input their details and finally a "News" page that I could update.

The site will allow customers to sign up and pay for a membership (£25 per month via paypal). When they have purchased a membership they will get a username and password that will allow them access to a members-only page the site.

The membership will be for a sort of FX "tips" service which I will be providing so I will need to be able to edit the members-only area page each day to upload that days tips. How I do this is up to you, but it could be something as simple as a blog-style page which would ideally allow me to upload the posts but users to comment on each post.

I would also like there to be a "sign up to the newsletter" box where they input their email address and also links to my twitter and facebook page. This is a brand new site but I am hoping to have everything set-up and online by December 1st at the latest if possible so I am looking to select a designer asap. As far as I can see the website will be relatively simple and I believe the budget reflects this.

In terms of the design, the key is making it look sharp and professional. The people I will be targetting will be individuals in the finance business so the emphasis is on making it look cool, sophisticated etc but still simple. For an idea of the design style (not the functionality) please take a look at http://www.tradermanagement.com.

I will provide the domain and hosting set-up.

Hi Jamie,

Is there any room for increase in your budget?

You mentioned you think this is a simple job but for the membership area to work properly you'd have to integrate with PayPal's API, which isn't that straightforward, as well as a content management system and blog.

If this was just for the build it would be pushing it a bit but as it's for the design as well you'll need to double or triple the budget to get a decent freelancer to give you the result you want.

I expect if you raise the budget to around £600 you’ll get a much better response and quality of work.

Thanks
Ashley
