Title:Marketing support for launch of iPhone/ iPad application
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
I have an application for the iPhone/iPad that is due to launch in August. I am looking for support in marketing the apps and drive downloads. You will need to provide a written detailed plan and complete all aspects of this. The plan should focus on free channels - online reviews, magazines or any other ideas you have. If i knew what would work I wouldnt need an expert! Will be particularly interested in how to access the USA Market.
The application itself is a productivity tool that supports a user to collate and manage supporting information for job applications, appraisals or reviews.

Am I correct in thinking that this is an app to support those working in the HR sector rather than those looking for work?
Regards
Claire

C. S. on 22/06/2011 09:06Hi, actually the idea for the app came because I was made redundant in feb and now looking for work, it was the process of writing a cv and preparing for interviews that got me thinking. Had I had the app it wold have been a whole easier. So job hunters are a group that I hope would be interested by the iPad version. Other users would be employees, to help them prepare for appraisals, promotional reviews etc. I showed the app to a HR director and she said that she would be interested in offering to all employees as part of the companies development support. Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
