Hi there

I am at the early stages of researching and developing a new business and will need specialist marketing input as the concept progresses. To date I have defined and written up the concept in fairly broad terms (i.e. the idea/ inspiration behind the business, what it offers, who it's aimed at, how they will benefit and what I hope the business will achieve) but I believe my relatively unsophisticated approach would benefit from someone with a background in marketing who could perhaps add a more insightful and professional take on what the business represents.

To begin with I am looking for a marketing specialist to provide say 5 to 7 hours of advice/input on where I have got to so far with a view to developing an ongoing relationship with 1 or 2 individuals depending on how the idea develops.

Ideally It would be very helpful if the successful bidder could demonstrate a proven track record in helping small early stage businesses get off the ground -from defining the initial concept through to taking a proactive approach to PR and providing advice on how best to raise awareness through a combination of offline and online marketing methods.

Hi Gerald,
What sort of product in basic outline is your product/service.
I am currently a director of a marketing company looking for other interests.
I have launched many start ups with limited budgets and have many years of experience in direct marketing,sales promotion,PR and off the page advertising.
