Job Description

We need someone to manage an on-going mailing campaign to bloggers with a view to get them to write about us and link back to our site.

The task will be as follows

- Initial phase: build a list of identified target bloggers. This will be done via Google and social media like Facebook and Twitter. AN initial effort to cast a web out to build a target universe is essential
- Set up Twitter and facebook Groups and connect to bloggers with the identified theme with a vew to adding them to the list on an on-going basis
- Send regular emails (initially daily then weekly) emails to the bloggers either directly or through their web form. The initial email will be templated and provided by us
- Follow up response - sometimes they may come back saying they want more information
- Keep an exact log of who was contacted and who responded and feed that back to us for reporting
- Once the initial blast is done repeat cycle on weekly basis with new bloggers identified
- Identify similar articles on blogs and add comments with hyperlink back to our site

Skills required
- good research skills to identify the right blogs
- good social media skills: able to set up and manage groups and accounts on Twitter and Facebook
- good writing skills: able to write a decent article as support material for bloggers that come back to you
- diligent, detailed and web savvy

Targets, deliverables and reporting
- We expect about 300 bloggers per week to be contacted. This is not just for UK but for all over the world
- Weekly report on who has been targeted and who responded
- Weekly report on write-ups. We will pay an extra commission fee of between £10 - £25 per blog write-up that includes a hyperlink back to the site
- Target to get at least 75-100 write-ups per month
- Weekly report on blog comments with hyperlink back to the site (commission of £1 per hyperlink)

Remuneration:

Weekly hourly rate + commission on write-ups as above. We will prefer to go with someone who
a) meets the skills required
b) has done this or something similar before and
c) is more result oriented in approach and charges a small hourly rate
