thanks for getting back to me. My client is based in Australia (I am currently back in scotland for the next 4 months but spend half my time in oz).
The database is based on the tables from their previous access system but the client is unhappy with the current layout, automation of processes and reporting modules.
I personally have a lot of experience building databases for businesses I have owned with other developers. I understand some access and am learning all the time but there are certain things like vb and sql coding that I am likely to continue to outsource.
I pretty much have taken the database to the level where i have the look and feel and user interface the way I want it but i need someone with access expertise to help me finalise some table relationships, more complex queries and reports and to help with some of the thought process (and coding) around automation and business processes.
My client runs a teatowel fundraising business. schools and other organisations use her service to create bespoke teatowels that are then sold to their members ot help raise fudns for their organisations.
hope this helps.

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
