S. D. on 21/03/2010 07:42 amHi
Would you be able to send me some more information on what kind of company this is also have you any direction in what kind of logo they want.
Thanks Sam
G. D. on 21/03/2010 10:33 amI am really interested in your posting and would love to be considered. I can start working on the projects immediately
T. L. on 21/03/2010 19:38 pmA total of (less than) seven hours, at below £10 an hour to design two logos (ok, one is a re-design, but correcting previous weak designs can often take longer than designing anew)....so let me get this straight....you in effect, per logo ....are offering a design fee of less than £35, which will probably include inevitable amendments. Can I ask what you charge per hour? I thought slave labor had been abolished?
Regards.....Tony
M. A. on 22/03/2010 09:36 amHello,

B. C. on 22/03/2010 11:12 amI\'d like to follow on from Tony\'s comments-
The sad truth is that this client is not alone in expecting something for nothing, and unfortunately there will always be obliging designers who are happy to sell their inspirations for whatever they can get.
This client should allow for a budget of around £180.00 for this project, attach a brief that gives at least some indication of the nature of the business!, agree terms before work begins and in return, expect the designer to work on the project with the client until he\'s happy with the result
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
