I can give details of the type of site and what it will be doing plus the types of website I like the design of to the winning bidder.

Clarification Board
M. P. on 11/05/2009 12:27Hi,
I have quite a bit of experience in designing websites and content for a developer to put together into a working site.
Before I offer you a proposal and quote I was wondering if you could give me a clearer idea of the size and complexity of the web site. Would I need to design and provide hundreds of elements or are you just looking for two or three designed page examples with a parts pack for the developer?
Many thanks
Matt
T. N. on 13/05/2009 00:04Hi,
Can you please answer the questions by Matt to help clarify the project. The complexity of the website design elements can change the bid amount immensely and I'm sure the providers would like to bid a fair price.
Thanks
Tasneem
B. J. on 13/05/2009 08:21Hi,
Yes of course - I have been away so not seen this yet - I do think clarification needed as the bids have come in on the high side for the work I need etc.
I simply need a logo design and a style (font etc) for a site I am whitelabelling. I will be using my own logo and have some say as to the overall style of the site which can be adapted this way for me.
This font/style should compliment the logo design. So there is no need for any web development etc. Just a brief for me to pass the whitelabel company to explain the style in a language they will understand.
I\'d also like to have a few images (graphics/photo) to compliment the overall style.
I will give full info. on the type of site to the winning bidder.
Thanks for being \'on the ball\' Matt/Tasneem, I hope that clarifies.
Bryn
M. P. on 13/05/2009 20:15Thanks Bryn,
To clarify...
As I understand it you are you are obtaining a white label site which can be adapted to some degree and you would like a logo, some design input and content creation to make the white label site your own. Is this correct?
Thanks
Matt

That\'s right.

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
