Title:Joomla 1.6 Template Design & Implementation

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

The task is to create and implement (install) the Joomla 1.6.2 template for our new website, using an existing brief as guidance. We are looking for a web developer who is deeply familiar with Joomla technology, is able to work within a reasonable time-scale and is willing to advise on any necessary tweaks that may make our initial design ideas more engaging and aesthetically pleasing from a web design perspective.

The project itself is being commissioned by a new university research group that is attempting to reach out to people in the community, as well as other researchers interested in the field. As such, the design must be professional. Some artwork (such as logos and banners) will be provided. Other artwork (such as buttons, backgrounds, links, etc.) will need to be created.

The budget that has made available for contractors/freelancers for this project is currently at £150. This is negotiable, if a suitable case can be made.

You want someone to install joomla, install a template, redesign that template and create graphics and content for you? Is that right? Your budget? can you increase this substantially or what really is the top end? It is a lot of work.

Please allow me to clarify.

You do not need to install Joomla. Our technicians have already set-up our web server and have successfully installed Joomla 1.6.2.

We have a general idea of what the website should look like, but we require assistance with creating and implementing the template. We do have some of our own graphics content but this is limited to our logos, banners, photographs, etc. Additional graphics such as buttons or anything else necessary for the template\'s \'look and feel\' may be required, but we can source these as additional costs if absolutely necessary.

The content, assuming you mean the actual written content for the website, will be managed by our technicians/researchers.

The available budget at this time is £150. If a suitable case can be made, such as a more realistic breakdown of the work involved and man-hours required, then we can attempt to secure a more appropriate budget. Nonetheless, this is all we have to work with at the moment.

i think you really need to re-look into the budget.
