Hi
I am a graphic/web designer and need some assistance with a site I am working on please...
I am using the easyAccordian plugin - http://www.madeincima.eu/blog/jquery-plugin-easy-accordion/
...as the basis for a PHP site (each slide is a top-level page), but the client's requirements having changed and I now need it to be able to do some things which the plugin does not offer as standard:
1. Write JS to access a specific slide (page) via the url (e.g. www.mysite.com#slide1) - so the site automatically opens to the requested slide.
2. A similar ability to link from one slide to open another in the same site (probably the same/similar function as above?)
3. This is the least important of the requirements and is just a "would be nice" feature... Within the slide pages I have iframes (I know - but you'll have to cope :-) and use a phpInclude to pull in an html page using a button on the main slide page. I would like, if possible, specific anchor(s) within the iframe content to also be accessible via the URL. (e.g. www.mysite.com#slide1#anchorname1). So on arrival, the correct slide is open(ed), the phpInclude activated to pull in the html page and the page's text then scrolled to the correct named anchor.
4. Finally, whether or not item 3 above is feasible, I want to force the text on the html page within the iframe to scroll (animate) rather than simply jumping to the named anchor. There are plenty of JS scripts out there to do this but I can't make any of them work with the button on a separate page to the iframe.
--------
Your urgent response would be great as I need to get this done by the end of June. Having said that, I am not back in the office until Tuesday 21st, so you've got some time to look it over and see how feasible it is if you want to before applying.
Please bear in mind that I am NOT a developer in any way, so will need you to run me through how and where the script should be placed!
Cheers
Andy
