It's just taking us too long to do it on our own...
We have a web portal that needs finishing. The look and feel of the site needs changing and we need it to be done in approximately 60 days.
Current position of the software:
The web portal is written in ASP.Net VB via MS Visual Web Developer 2008.
It is currently hosted on a dedicated box with Microsoft Web Server 2008 OS. The server is configured with IIS 7 for web services and IIS6 for FTP.
The databases are on MS SQL Server 2008 express edition.
All usernames and passwords will be of course be issued when necessary.
The basics of the site are there with a toolkit to speed development.
The data base structure is largely in place and although we do not have a problem with a developer changing the site layout, we would like the database structure to largely stay as it is with the exception of new fields / tables where necessary or where the current format is in error. Some tables are empty waiting for columns to be added as the software develops.
The remote client application and its associated server is already developed by another 3rd party.

The purpose of the Click Intellect web portal is to empower Dealers, Manufacturers and End Users of (initially) network attached printers and copiers to enable accurate billing, to:
- Significantly reduce the cost of billing data acquisition,
- To allow End users to leverage the true potential of their office print devices and achieve greater control through cost management and consumable management,
- For manufacturers to have true market awareness, product reliability and usage information.
It is intended that these benefits are offered at a far lower cost than is possible through any other methodology currently available and at a price point that will entice potential users away from competitor's products or to encourage potential users that currently find competitor products too cost prohibitive.
All benefits should therefore be fully automated, easily accessible, and easy to use. Where possible, information should be pushed to the user to remind them of the value of the product and to supply them with timely alerts that may require action.
The Web Portal is effectively a web based GUI for tracking print usage.
