Title:Ident Animation
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
We are a start-up promotional video production agency and require a short (approx 3 seconds) 3D animated ident/sting made from our logo to use on our showreel and other promotional material.
Brief:
What we would like is to have the footage (approx 1 second prior to the ident) shift and twist and then to look like its an old reel-to-reel projector coming off the tracks and then the tape to twist into the shape of the logo and to transform into our logo image.
We currently don't have a 3D animator so if we are happy with this project it will lead to more regular work.

P. W. on 17/11/2010 21:42Hi there,
Could you please tell us the following as they'll all have a baring on the bid price.
1/ will you supply the 1 sec of footage and if so how? (ftp/drive?)
2/ what resolution do you want this to be?
3/ what format you'll want it delivered in (.tga/.tif frames, uncompressed quicktime .. etc.)?
4/ how do you want it delivered? (ftp/drive?)
5/ would the logo be the M in the image shown? ie. you'd want the film to finish off in the shape of a M?
Cheers,
Patrick

R. D. on 18/11/2010 10:37Hi Patrick,
Apologies for not having this information in my original bid.
1) an example of the whole showreel and the lead-in clips (there will be 2 different versions required, but the same animation used) will be provided via our secure ftp server
2) initially we requite these as PAL windscreen 16:9 (720 x 576 p at 16:9 pixel aspect ratio)
3) uncompressed QuickTime is the preferred file format but h.264 or any other standard good quality video format would also be ok.
4) Again we would like it to be delivered via our secure ftp site, or if file-size depicts via dvd or drive that we will provide or re-reimburse expenses for
5) yes, the logo is the M shown in the first image of the banner on our homepage
Thanks
Ross
